Tonight's Discussion: Medical Ethics, Bodily Autonomy and the Fight Against Unethical Health Policies

Dr Elizabeth Evans holds a Medical Sciences and Physiology MA from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and her clinical medicine MBBS (Hons) from Imperial College London. A former NHS doctor, she now runs a naturopathic practice and is co-founder and CEO of the UK Medical Freedom Alliance (UKMFA), set up in October 2020.

UKMFA is the leading UK voice on medical ethics, campaigning for an individual's right to informed consent, bodily autonomy and medical choice. It has written over 70 open letters to policy-makers, regulators and Government, and has run campaigns including Time to Pause (Children's Covid Vaccines), Stop The WHO, Stop Assisted Dying and Stop Water Fluoridation.

Elizabeth was convenor of the People's Vaccine Inquiry, a front-facing member of HART since 2021, and a member of the Children's Covid Vaccine Advisory Council (CCVAC). Find out more at ukmedfreedom.org.

Elizabeth practised as a GP Registrar and SHO before deregistering from the NHS and moving into naturopathic medicine, which she practises from home alongside her advocacy work.

UKMFA has a podcast with regular Medical Ethics Reports and interviews, and provides resources for the public to educate and empower them to challenge unethical medical policies and practices.

Elizabeth is a member of the Children's Covid Vaccine Advisory Council (CCVAC) led by Dr Ros Jones, which has written numerous letters since May 2021 to the MHRA, JCVI and the Prime Minister raising serious concerns about COVID vaccines in healthy children. See childrensunion.org/ccvac.
